It provides visual sound event cues, a sound radar that shows which browser tabs are currently making sound, and guarded English captions when speech is clear enough. It is designed for people who are Deaf, hard of hearing, or anyone who wants clearer visual awareness of browser audio.

Privacy first:

Z Sound View processes audio locally on your device. Captions and audio analysis are not sent to Z Sound View servers. The extension may download machine learning model files from allowlisted model hosts on first use, then cache them locally in your browser.
