Overview
Shorts Block is an easy-to-use browser extension that interacts with the DOM to disable YouTube Shorts, which can overwhelm the user experience.
You will still be able to watch shorts, but unlike in the actual polluted YouTube, you need to reach the shorts tab and show interest in seeing them.
Implemented Features:
- Remove YouTube Shorts visibility from Home, Results and Trending.
- Automatically convert Shorts videos into a regular format.
- Remove Youtube Shorts section, while watching video.
-Full Block Youtube Shorts.
-Personal Settings. Different modes for the extension.
Modes:
-Full Block: Shorts get fully blocked/removed.
-Soft Block: The extension will only remove the Youtube Shorts from the Home/Trending/Results Page, but you can watch shorts if you want on their section.
-View as Video: You can watch youtube shorts, in normal video format.(This mode is not compatible with Full Block).
