Overview
One click to copy the full transcript of any YouTube video.
Two modes:
- Copy — includes timestamps (e.g. 1:23 Hello world)
- Copy Text Only — plain text, no timestamps
Works with YouTube's virtual-scroll transcript panel. No background scripts, no content scripts running on every page. The extension only activates when you click it.
Use cases:
- Feed transcripts to ChatGPT or other LLMs
- Save subtitles for notes or study
- Archive video content as text
