Overview
YouTube Research Assistant adds a simple side panel to YouTube video pages for taking notes.
Users can:
• Write manual notes while watching videos
• Insert the current video timestamp into notes
• View notes alongside the video in a resizable panel
• Optionally read available YouTube captions into the notes area
Caption text is only captured when captions are provided by YouTube.
Notes are stored locally in the browser using Chrome storage.
