Overview
YouTube Filler adds a native-looking button to the YouTube video player that lets the video fill the current browser tab without entering real fullscreen. Instead of hiding your tabs, address bar, and window controls, it keeps the browser interface visible while expanding the video with a centered cover crop.
It is useful when you want a larger, cleaner YouTube viewing experience but still need quick access to your browser controls, other tabs, or desktop window management. YouTube Filler also keeps the YouTube playback controls available, hides distracting page panels while active, and includes configurable keyboard shortcuts for faster toggling.
The extension only activates on regular YouTube watch pages and does not collect analytics, track browsing history, or send video information to external servers.
