Overview
A browser extension for MyDramaList that instantly shows where you’ve seen an actor, director, writer, or other credited person before - based on your own MDL library.
❓ Ever had this moment?
“I know this actor from somewhere… but from where?”
👉 Instead of scrolling through a full filmography and trying to remember where you have seen someone before, this extension answers that instantly by comparing a person’s credits with the titles saved from your synced MyDramaList account. If you have already logged a drama, movie, or show they appeared in, you will see the match immediately! No need to scroll through their entire filmography every time.
✨ What it does
- Displays a banner on MDL people pages showing titles you already know them from
- Lets you open a “Show more” modal with detailed matches
- Shows your watch status (Completed, Watching, On Hold, Dropped)
- Includes role information (Actor, Director, Writer, etc.)
- Optionally supports staff credits like directors, writers, composers, and more
- Uses high-quality posters with local caching for faster loading
