Overview
Stuck staring at a playlist or watchlist with hundreds of items, unable to pick one? What to Watch Now solves that.
Open a YouTube playlist or a Letterboxd list, click the extension icon, and you'll get one random pick — fairly drawn from everything that isn't already watched. Hit "Pick again" to reroll, or "Open" to jump straight to the item.
FEATURES
• One-click random pick from the open YouTube playlist or Letterboxd list
• Per-list history — picks are remembered separately for each playlist or list
• "All caught up" state when every item has been picked
• Options page to view history grouped by service and reset picks per list
• Fully local — nothing leaves your browser
SUPPORTED PAGES
• YouTube: any playlist, including Watch Later, Liked Videos, user-created, and public playlists from other users
• Letterboxd: watchlists, user lists, liked films, and all logged films
PRIVACY
This extension runs entirely in your browser. It reads the playlist or list contents directly from the page, picks one at random, and stores the IDs of picked items in local IndexedDB so they're not picked again. No data is sent to any server. No analytics. No tracking. No accounts.
