Weblang Translator

WebLang Translator helps you translate web pages and selected text directly in your browser. It includes a side panel interface for running translations without leaving the current page, plus optional AI tools and export utilities.

Key features:
- Page translation in Paragraph mode or Full Page mode
- Quick Translate popup for selected text
- Multiple translation providers with free-mode fallbacks and optional paid providers (bring your own API key)
- AI Analysis tools (summarize, analyze, keywords) powered by Gemini (optional, requires a Gemini API key)
- Text-to-speech support, including optional Gemini TTS (requires a Gemini API key)
- Translation History that saves recent translated pages (URL, title, language pair, mode, timestamp, word count)
- Auto Translate from History (optional): automatically re-runs translation when you revisit a page whose URL exactly matches a saved history entry
- Export translated content and AI results to TXT or PDF (optional)
- Controls to show/hide optional tools on the home panel (AI, History, Export)

Privacy and data handling:
- No developer-operated backend server is used by this extension.
- Translation and AI requests are sent only to the selected third-party provider when you use those features.
- Settings are stored in Chrome extension storage. Translation history is stored locally in your browser and can be cleared anytime from the extension UI.

Notes:
- AI features and Gemini TTS require a Gemini API key (you can generate one in Google AI Studio and add it in Settings).
- You can adjust keyboard shortcuts from chrome://extensions/shortcuts.
