Vow Block Porn Keep Your

Overview
Vow blocks pornography and replaces the moment of temptation with the
promise you made. Free forever. Private by design.
WHAT HAPPENS AT THE DOOR
When a tab heads to a blocked site, Vow steps in with a calm, full-page
pause: the vow you wrote in your own words, a short line of scripture,
prayer, or reflection, and two honest choices. "Keep my vow" is one click.
"Continue anyway" only unlocks after a short countdown, because urges
crest and pass. You stay free; the moment just stops being a reflex.
PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE
Nothing about your browsing ever leaves your device. No accounts, no
analytics, no reports to anyone. Vow makes exactly two kinds of network
requests: a weekly download of the public oisd NSFW blocklist, and an
optional license check if you buy Vow Plus. The code is open source (MIT),
and an automated audit in the repository fails if any other network call
is ever introduced.
GENTLE BY CONVICTION
Vow counts the days you keep and the choices you make. A slip is met with
one line: "Grace, not shame. Begin again." It never throws a lost number
in your face. An optional one-line journal keeps your reflections, on your
device only.
EVERYTHING THAT PROTECTS YOU IS FREE
The maintained blocklist with weekly updates, your own added sites, the
interstitial, your vow, the streak and journal, and an optional PIN with a
cooldown before protection can be paused. The free tier is the whole
product, not a teaser.
VOW PLUS ADDS DEPTH, NEVER PROTECTION
A Catholic tradition pack (Examen prompts, Divine Mercy and Marian
aspirations), interstitial themes, full journal history, and richer streak
stats. Payment can never unlock a blocked site, for anyone, ever.
HONEST LIMITS
A Chrome extension can be removed from the extensions page, and Vow will
not pretend otherwise. It is friction and conviction for someone keeping
their own word, not surveillance for policing someone else. Allow Vow in
incognito windows for full coverage; it reminds you during setup.
PERMISSIONS, PLAINLY
Navigation events: to notice when a tab heads to a blocked site. Storage:
to keep your settings on your device. Alarms: to refresh the blocklist
weekly. Active tab: so the "Add this site" button can see the address of
the page you pressed it on.
