HOW IT WORKS
Click the Volume Master icon in your toolbar. A slider appears letting you adjust volume from 0% to 600% for the current tab. Each tab remembers its own volume setting independently.

The extension uses the Web Audio API to route audio through a professional-grade audio chain:
Source → Bass Filter → Voice Filter → Gain → Compressor → Output

The built-in compressor prevents harsh clipping and distortion even at maximum boost levels.

Turn on Bass Boost to add extra depth and punch to your audio. Enhances low frequencies around 200Hz, perfect for music, movies, and gaming.

Turn on Voice Boost to make speech clearer and easier to understand. Enhances frequencies around 2.5kHz where human voice is most present. Great for podcasts, audiobooks, lectures, and video calls.

QUICK PRESET BUTTONS
Skip the slider and jump to common volume levels instantly:
- Mute — silence the tab completely
- 50% — reduce to half volume
- 100% — browser default
- 200% — moderate boost
- 400% — significant boost
- MAX — full 600% amplification

KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS
After opening the popup:
→ Right arrow / Up arrow: increase volume by 5%
← Left arrow / Down arrow: decrease volume by 5%
Mouse scroll wheel also works on the slider.

FULL SCREEN NOTE
Chrome shows a blue rectangle icon in the tab bar when any extension is manipulating audio. This is a Chrome security feature and cannot be bypassed. Press F11 (Windows) or Ctrl+Cmd+F (Mac) to improve the full-screen experience.
