Overview
Vidora saves the videos you watch online as clean, ready-to-play files. Open a page, click the icon, and keep a copy. No accounts, no ads, no clutter.
▶ How it works
1. Open a page that has a video.
2. Click the Vidora icon and let it find the media for you.
3. Pick a quality when several are offered, then save.
▶ What you can keep
Vidora recognises the players used by many of the sites you already visit, including Vimeo, Loom, Wistia and TikTok, as well as any standard HLS or DASH stream on the open web. It keeps the original quality, with no re-encoding and no added watermark, and lets you choose the resolution when a site offers more than one. The full list of supported sites lives at https://getvidora.com.
▶ Made for
- Course creators archiving the lessons they made themselves
- Marketers keeping reference material for analysis
- Educators backing up their own teaching library
- Anyone who wants a calm, reliable way to keep a video offline
▶ Pricing
Vidora is free during the launch period. Every feature is unlocked, with no payment, no signup and no credit card required. Any future paid plan will be announced here and on getvidora.com.
▶ Privacy
Everything runs locally in your browser. Vidora never uploads the videos you save, and never sends your browsing history, page addresses or titles anywhere. Optional anonymous diagnostics can be switched off at any time in Options. Full details: https://getvidora.com/privacy.
▶ What Vidora does not do
- It does not remove DRM. Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime and other protected services are blocked by design.
- It does not work on YouTube, in line with Chrome Web Store policy.
- It does not track you, and never sells data.
