uBlock Resurrected (BETA)

uBlock Resurrected is an experimental content blocker built from the ground up to bring advanced filtering capabilities to the Manifest V3 (MV3) engine. This is a BETA version intended for testing and development feedback.

Current Status & Beta Limitations:
Engine: Successfully ported core filtering logic to the MV3 declarativeNetRequest and scripting APIs.

UI Work-in-Progress: Users may encounter display issues in the Logger iframe and legacy links to original documentation pages.

YouTube Compatibility: Due to frequent changes in platform architecture, ad-blocking on YouTube may be intermittent as we refine our rulesets.

Known Conflicts: May conflict with other privacy extensions like Privacy Badger or Ghostery. For the best experience, we recommend testing with other blockers disabled.

Platform: Currently optimized for Chrome only.

Logging: Per-page block counters on the extension icon are currently disabled to optimize performance.

Roadmap for Stable Release:
Enhanced Tools: Consolidation of the element zapper and picker into a unified interface.

Advanced Logic: Implementation of keyword-based DOM filtering and procedural cosmetic rules.

Security: Improved firewall rules and network request interception.

Optimization: Full code refactoring to modern ECMAScript standards and UI/UX overhaul.
