Overview
Built something cool this week: try-tldr.
I have like 50 tabs open of stuff I want to read & watch. Articles, papers, videos. Never get to most of them. So I made this chrome extension that gives me a 1-min summary with actionable takeaways.
It's simple:
- Highlight any content
- Get a 1-min summary
- Everything stored locally
- Some cool features like highlights page for quotes that resonate with me.
Using o3-mini for the reasoning. Thinking about adding an AI chat feature so you can ask questions about the content.
Not trying to replace proper reading. Just getting some value from stuff I was never gonna read anyway.
