Overview
Read smarter. See through the spin.
TruthLens uses Claude AI to identify propaganda techniques and political bias in real time, on the news articles and social media profiles you're already reading. It works on any news site and on Twitter/X profiles.
On News Articles
Click the TruthLens icon on any news article and get:
A Bias Score (−100 Far Left → +100 Far Right) based on actual language patterns — not political databases
A Propaganda Score (0–100) measuring how much manipulative language the article uses
The top propaganda techniques found, each explained in plain English with a real example sentence from the article
Sentence-level highlighting — color-coded directly in the article so you can see exactly where it's happening
A plain-English summary of the article's framing and tone
"What the other side says" — a concise counterpoint perspective
Student Mode — simplified explanations written for younger readers and media literacy classes
On Twitter/X Profiles
Navigate to any Twitter/X profile and click Analyze to get:
A Propaganda Score for the account's recent posts
A Political Bias rating — Far Left through Far Right
The top propaganda techniques found in the account's language, each explained in plain English
Results appear inline — no popup, no context switching
20 Propaganda Techniques Detected
TruthLens identifies 20 named techniques from media literacy research — including Appeal to Emotion, Fear Mongering, Loaded Language, Straw Man, Ad Hominem, Whataboutism, and more. Each one is explained in plain English with a real example pulled directly from the content you're reading.
