Tonify is a powerful Chrome extension built for musicians. Whether you're a guitarist learning a solo, a singer practising a key change, a producer transcribing a track, or a student training your ear — Tonify gives you complete real-time control over any audio playing in your browser, including YouTube, SoundCloud, and beyond.

Shift any song up or down by semitones in real time without affecting playback speed. Fine-tune beyond standard steps with the cents control for precise pitch adjustments — perfect for matching a guitar that isn't quite in standard tuning.

─── SPEED CONTROL ───
Slow down fast solos, complex riffs, and difficult vocal runs without changing pitch. Speed up for sight-reading practice. Supports 0.25× all the way to 3×.

─── STEM ISOLATION (NEW) ───
Isolate vocals and backing tracks with 2-way separation — hear just the vocals or just the instrumental. Record a clip directly from your microphone, the tab audio, or even the pitch-shifted output (the Tonify-processed version), then let the AI separate the stems. Download the isolated parts individually. 4-way separation (vocals, drums, bass, guitar/other) is coming soon.

─── TIMELINE PLAYBACK ───
Set a time range on any video. When the video reaches that range, the original audio is automatically replaced by just the vocals or just the instrumental — then seamlessly switches back to the full track. Works even when the extension popup is closed.

─── BUILT-IN MIXER & EQ ───
Five-band equalizer: Bass (120 Hz), Low Mid (250 Hz), Mid (1 kHz), Hi Mid (4 kHz), Treble (12 kHz). Boost bass for a fuller sound, cut mids to bring out vocals, or dial in the perfect listening EQ. Stereo/mono toggle and left-right balance control help isolate instruments panned to one side of a recording.

Set A and B loop points to repeat any section of a song. Set a fixed repeat count or loop infinitely. Perfect for drilling difficult passages, building muscle memory, and improving timing.
