Overview
- TabSweep is a Chrome MV3 extension that automatically closes tabs whose URLs match user-defined JavaScript regex patterns.
- Modes: close immediately, or wait for an idle delay; optional “close on click” to shut matching tabs as soon as you activate them.
- Regex safety: Options page validates each line live, disables Save until all patterns compile, and shows line-numbered errors.
- Manual control: Popup has a “Run now” button to rescan all open tabs with current rules.
- Safeguards: Pinned tabs and non-http(s) URLs are never closed; idle mode skips the active tab.
