Your browser has dozens of tabs, scattered bookmarks, and buried history but no fast way to get to any of it. CMDK fixes that. Hit ⌘K (or Ctrl+K) on any page and a command palette appears.

Search across everything open tabs, bookmarks, history, downloads, recently closed tabs and act on it instantly. Close duplicates, pin tabs, take screenshots, do quick math, generate QR codes, all without leaving the keyboard.

It works on any website, lives entirely inside your browser, and nothing ever leaves your device. No accounts, no cloud, no tracking.

Features

- Tab search and switching: Find any open tab by title or URL and jump to it instantly, no matter how many windows you have open.
- Bookmark search: Search your entire bookmark library and open any bookmark right from the palette.
- History search: Look up pages you visited recently (configurable timeframe: last hour to all time).
- Downloads manager: Browse, open, or manage your recent downloads without leaving the page.
- Recently closed tabs: See tabs you just closed and restore them with one click.
- Tab actions: Close, pin, unpin, mute, duplicate, reload, or move any tab to a new window directly from the results.
- Tab groups: Create, assign, and manage Chrome tab groups from the palette (Chrome only).
- Built-in calculator: Type math expressions and get instant results. Supports trig, percentages (20% of 500), and unit conversions (100 km to miles).
- Color picker: Pick any color from the screen using the EyeDropper API and copy the hex/rgb/hsl value to your clipboard.
- QR code generator: Generate a QR code for the current page URL, preview it, and copy the image.
- Screenshots: Capture the full visible page or select a specific area. Copy to clipboard or download as PNG.
- Page commands: Print, view source, toggle fullscreen, scroll to top/bottom, zoom in/out, copy the page URL or title.
- Tab management commands: Close duplicates, close tabs to the left/right, merge all windows, suspend inactive tabs to free memory.
- Shorthand prefixes: Type :b for bookmarks, :h for history, :d for downloads, :t for tabs, :s for search: skip the filter tabs entirely.
- Themes: 15 built-in themes including dark, light, Catppuccin, Dracula, Nord, Tokyo Night, Gruvbox, Rosé Pine, and more. Or just follow your system preference.
- Compact mode: A tighter layout for people who prefer density over breathing room.
- Notch mode: A macOS Dynamic Island-style bar that drops down from the top center of the screen.
- Customizable position: Place the palette at center, top, bottom, or any corner.

- Storage — Saves your settings (theme, layout, preferences) locally and syncs them across devices via your browser's built-in sync.
- Active Tab — Lets CMDK inject the palette UI into the page you're currently viewing and run page-level commands like zoom, print, and screenshot.
- Tabs — Lists your open tabs so you can search and switch between them.

Optional (you enable these yourself):
- Bookmarks — Lets you search and open bookmarks from the palette. Also lets you bookmark the current page.
- History — Lets you search your browsing history from the palette.
- Downloads — Lets you search, open, and manage recent downloads.
- Sessions — Lets you see and restore recently closed tabs and windows.
- Clipboard Write — Lets CMDK copy URLs, screenshots, QR codes, and calculator results to your clipboard when you ask it to.
- Tab Groups — Lets you create and manage Chrome tab groups from the palette (Chrome only).
