Overview
Say goodbye to tab clutter. TabCloser automatically closes leftover tabs from services like Figma, Spotify, and Zoom after they redirect you into their desktop apps.
New: Custom URL + regex support. You can now tell TabCloser exactly what to close—perfect for cleaning up after SSO logins, VPN redirects, “open in app” links, corporate auth flows, and anything else that leaves junk tabs behind.
When you click a link that launches a desktop app, your browser often keeps a useless tab open. TabCloser detects those common redirect patterns and closes the tab automatically—so when you return to your browser, everything is still tidy.
Great for everyday stuff like opening a Figma file from Slack, launching Zoom meetings from your calendar, or playing a Spotify playlist a friend shared. Also handy for VS Code Live Share sessions, Discord links, and productivity tools like Asana or Linear.
Not using the desktop version of an app? No problem, just disable TabCloser for that service and keep using it in your browser.
