Overview
Reorder unsorted tab groups.
Step 1: Block tabs' network requests (optional)
When enabled, this will intercept and block tabs' network requests during page load to improve performance. Remember to disable it after you finish Step 2.
Step 2: Open the tab groups
Manually open the tab groups you want to sort.
Step 3: Sort the tab groups
By default, groups are displayed in the order you opened them in Step 2.
FAQ:
Do I need to open all tab groups?
No. You only need to open the group you want to modify and the groups that follow it.
How does sorting work?
All tabs in a group are temporarily removed from their groups (they are not deleted; empty groups are removed automatically). Groups are then recreated in the new order and tabs are placed back into their groups.
Any side effects?
Yes. Groups that are reordered will become pinned, even if they were previously unpinned.
Why block network requests?
If you have many tabs and groups, opening them all at once can cause the browser to freeze. Blocking network requests helps tabs open smoothly and speeds up the process.
