Synara is a privacy-first browser extension that builds a searchable memory of your digital life — stored entirely in your own Private Data Pod. No third-party servers. No data mining. You own everything.

── WHAT IT CAPTURES ──

• AI Conversations — Automatically saves your ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini conversations as they happen, or manually with one click.
• Web Highlights — Select any text on any page, right-click → "Remember Selection with Synara" to save it with full context.
• Page Saves — Right-click anywhere → "Remember This Page" to bookmark it permanently to your pod.
• YouTube Videos — Logs the title and channel of videos you watch so you can recall them later.
• Manual Memories — Notes and links you explicitly save from the Synara popup.

── YOUR DATA, YOUR RULES ──

All captured events are written directly to your Private Data Pod — a personal data store you control. Synara never sends your data to any Synara server. Authentication uses the open WebID/OIDC standard. You can revoke access, export your data, or delete it at any time.

── PRIVACY BY DESIGN ──

Synara automatically filters out passwords, credit card numbers, form inputs, and sensitive URLs before anything is captured. Banking, health, and private browsing tabs are never captured.

── WORKS WITH SYNARA AI ──

Pair with the Synara AI web app (ai.privatedatapod.com) to search and query your captured memories using natural language AI — entirely over your own pod data.

── OPEN SOURCE ──

Synara is built on open standards: Solid Protocol, WebID, OIDC, and Linked Data. Your memories are stored as structured JSON in your pod — readable by any compatible app.
