😴 SnoozeTube – Because even YouTube needs bedtime
Can’t stop watching “just one more video”?
Let SnoozeTube gently take the remote from your hyperactive brain and tuck your videos in for the night 🌙
This simple Chrome extension helps you drift off while watching YouTube — by slowly lowering the video’s speed and volume over time.
So instead of blasting memes at 2 a.m., you’ll be peacefully dozing off to a calm, whispering version of them.
🎬 How it works
=============
When you open YouTube, SnoozeTube adds two neat little buttons below the video title (next to the channel name):
🌙 Sleep Button
Starts or stops the sleep fade.
Once active, it gradually decreases playback speed and volume over a set duration — so by the end (e.g. after 20 minutes), you’re watching and listening at a cozy 50% pace and volume. Perfect for falling asleep without that final “Did you fall asleep?” autoplay jump scare.
⚙️ Settings Button
Opens a small popup to customize:
⏱ Fade Duration – how long the fade takes (e.g. 20 min)
💤 Initial Delay – how long to wait before starting the fade
🔉 Goal Volume – how quiet it should end up
🎞 Goal Speed – how slow it should end up
Your preferences are automatically saved, so SnoozeTube remembers your ideal sleepy settings next time.
🌌 Why you’ll love it

(*Okay, maybe not scientifically, but it definitely feels that way.)
