SECURITY SPECIFICATIONS

• Encryption: AES-256-GCM (Advanced Encryption Standard)
• Key Derivation: PBKDF2 with SHA-256, 100,000 iterations
• Salt: 128-bit random per vault
• IV/Nonce: 96-bit random per encryption operation
• Authentication Tag: 128-bit (built into AES-GCM)

IMPORTANT NOTES

• PASSWORD RECOVERY IS IMPOSSIBLE: If you forget your master password, there is no way to recover your data. We recommend keeping a secure backup.

• LOCAL ONLY: Your passwords do not sync across devices. This is by design for maximum security.

• BACKUP REGULARLY: Use the export feature to create a .csv which can be encrypted so you have manual backups of your password data.
