HOW IT WORKS

1. Install the extension and click the icon in your Chrome toolbar.
2. Go to the Settings tab and enter your API key for your preferred provider (NeverBounce, ZeroBounce, or MillionVerifier).
3. Go to the License tab and activate your license key to enable your daily quota.
4. Navigate to any webpage containing email addresses.
5. Open the extension popup and click "Scan Page" to detect all emails on the page.
6. Select one or more emails and click "Verify" to get instant results.
7. View color-coded results: valid, invalid, catch-all, unknown, or disposable.

VERIFICATION RESULT TYPES

• Valid — The email address exists and is deliverable.
• Invalid — The email address does not exist or cannot receive mail.
• Catch-All — The domain accepts all emails; deliverability cannot be confirmed.
• Disposable — The email uses a temporary or throwaway domain.
• Unknown — The provider could not determine deliverability at this time.

Your privacy matters. Smart Email Verifier is designed with a local-first approach:

• API keys are stored using Chrome's chrome.storage.local API — on your device only.
• Email addresses you verify are sent directly to your chosen provider's API using your own API key.
• Smart Email Verifier does not collect, store, or log any email addresses or API keys on external servers.
• No user account or sign-up is required to use the extension.

GETTING STARTED

1. Install Smart Email Verifier from the Chrome Web Store.
2. Obtain an API key from one of the supported providers:
• NeverBounce: https://app.neverbounce.com/signup

• MillionVerifier: https://www.millionverifier.com/register
3. Enter your API key in the extension's Settings tab.
4. Activate a license key in the License tab.
