Overview
SLACTAC is a lightweight Chrome Extension that lets you rename Slack channels in your browser interface for improved clarity and personal workflow organization.
It allows you to:
- Rename Slack channel sidebar entries with custom names
- Store and manage your overrides locally
- Visually select a channel name directly via the picker
This extension does not modify Slack's backend or data — all changes are cosmetic and local to your browser.
🚫 Note: User or direct message renaming is not yet supported.
