Serene Guardian blocks inappropriate websites, masks explicit text on pages, enforces screen time limits, and logs all blocked activity — all without slowing down the browser.

✦ SITE BLOCKING
• Blocks sites across 7 categories: Adult Content, Social Media, Gambling, Violence, Gaming, Streaming, and E-Commerce
• Age-based presets automatically adjust filters for ages 5–18
• Add your own custom domains to block or allow
• Blocked sites show a branded page explaining why access was denied

✦ CONTENT MASKING (Premium)
• Scans page text in real-time and masks inappropriate words with black bars
• 3-tier dictionary: Severe (always), Moderate (age ≤ 13), Mild (age ≤ 8)
• Blurs images with suspicious metadata

• Set a daily screen time limit (30 min – 8 hours)

• PIN-locked sidebar — child cannot change settings without the parent PIN
• PIN required to unlock blocked sites (temporary 30-minute access, not permanent)
• Brute-force protection: 5 failed attempts triggers a 5-minute lockout
• All PIN attempts are logged with timestamps

• Pause protection for 15 min, 30 min, 1 hour, or 2 hours
• Resume protection early with one tap
• Live countdown timer shows remaining pause time
