Overview
Semrush Keyword Opportunities highlights keywords on Semrush pages that are missing from the final URL slug of a website, helping SEO professionals instantly spot content optimization opportunities.
When you open a keyword report on Semrush, the extension automatically compares each keyword with the corresponding URL slug. Rows are color-coded based on the number of missing words:
🟡 Yellow — 1 keyword missing from the slug
🟠 Orange — 2 keywords missing
🔴 Red — 3 or more keywords missing
This makes it easy to identify pages where the URL could better reflect the target keywords, and prioritize which ones to optimize first.
The extension works automatically — no buttons to click, no configuration needed. It re-runs whenever you navigate, filter, or paginate within Semrush. Accent-insensitive matching ensures accurate results across all languages.
