Overview
Sapiens Verified Recorder helps schools, editorial teams, and organizations verify authentic human-authored work.
The extension records writing-session metadata and creates a tamper-evident event chain that can be uploaded to Sapiens Verified to issue a certificate.
How it works:
1. Start a session before writing.
2. Write in your normal web editor (Google Docs, Word Online, LMS editors, and more).
3. Stop and export the session log.
4. Upload the log with your final text on sapiensverified.com to issue a verification certificate.
What it records:
- Event timestamps
- Event types (keystroke, paste, focus, blur)
- Session metadata (domain, start/end time)
- Hash-chain evidence values
- Aggregate activity metrics (keystrokes, paste count)
What it does not record:
- Raw draft text
- Clipboard text content
- Passwords or payment data
Use cases:
- Education assignment authenticity workflows
- Editorial and publisher governance workflows
- Enterprise transparency and internal verification workflows
