Overview
Salesforce Metadata Tracker is a floating Chrome extension that stays accessible across all tabs, enabling developers and admins to easily log metadata changes (like created or updated fields, flows, components, etc.) against a user story or task.
Once tracking is complete, users can copy the final metadata summary and paste it directly into JIRA, Salesforce, Asana, or other systems, eliminating the need for Git-based tracking.
This tool makes it easier for teams to maintain change logs, improve deployment planning, and streamline communication during development and release cycles.
