Overview
SafeView – Comment Shield helps you browse social media without being ambushed by toxic replies.
It automatically scans comment sections on major platforms and blurs or hides comments that match your custom keyword filters, so you stay in control of what you see.
What SafeView does
• Blurs or hides toxic, hateful, racist, or abusive comments based on keywords you define
• Works on popular Social commenting platforms with more coming soon.
• Lets you quickly toggle filtering on or off from the toolbar popup
• Supports different modes: blur with “Show comment” button, or fully hide
• Updates in real time as new comments load or you scroll
Key features
• Custom keyword list: Add or remove words and phrases that you don’t want to see
• Strictness levels: Choose how aggressively SafeView should match variations of your keywords
• Per-site control: Enable or disable filtering for each supported site
• Live updates: When you change settings or keywords, visible comments update without needing a full page refresh
Privacy-friendly by design
• All filtering happens locally in your browser
