Review Proof – Google Map
View on Chrome Web StoreChrome will indicate if you already have this installed.
Overview
Review Proof adds an explainable VeriScore directly to Google Maps so you can spot suspicious reviews, rating inflation, and removed-review signals before choosing a restaurant.
Why install Review Proof?
🔍 Proof reviews on Google Maps - Click "Proof Reviews" or enable Auto-analyze to inspect review text, reviewer patterns, recency, and suspicious signals.
🛡️ See VeriScore where you browse - We strike through the public Google rating and show an adjusted VeriScore with removed-review flags when data is available.
📉 Understand rating adjustments - The breakdown explains how recent review averages, quality weighting, paid/coordinated-review signals, and Google complaint removals affect the final score.
🏙️ Explore city data - Jump from a place to its Review Proof city page to compare restaurants by removed-review percentage and VeriScore.
🔒 Focused and transparent - The extension runs on Google Maps pages, sends only the data needed for review analysis, and does not sell data.
How it works:
Browse restaurants on Google Maps.
Open a place or search results list.
Review Proof checks known place IDs in one batch and shows available VeriScore data.
If no score exists, click Proof Reviews to run an explainable review analysis.
Use Review Proof when Google ratings look too clean, review counts jump suddenly, or you want more context before trusting a restaurant's score.
