Overview

Control the playback speed of embedded videos and GIFs on Reddit!

Speed up or slow down the speed in increments of 0.25x, or click on the current speed to reset it to 1.0x!

Keyboard shortcuts:

[ - Slow down by 0.25x
] - Speed up by 0.25x

; - Reset the speed to 1.0x
: - Toggle Remember Speed on or off

' - Hide or unhide the playback controller
" - Toggle Auto-Hide on or off

\ - Boost mode: While this key is held down, speed up a video to 16.0x (the maximum value allowed)

SCROLL while hovering over the controller to modify the playback speed.

RIGHT CLICK on controller to access the dropdown menu:

- Remember Speed - Determine if the component will remember the last used playback speed across all videos

- Auto-Hide - Determine if the component will be constantly visible, or hidden when the mouse leaves the video or if the mouse is not moved for 3 seconds.
