Overview
Welcome to ReadingTree—your personal, interactive browser session map.
ReadingTree is a fast, lightweight productivity extension that automatically tracks your active tabs and visualizes them as a beautiful, interactive tree graph right inside your Chrome Side Panel. As you discover new links and branch out your reading, your tree natively grows with you.
✨ CORE FEATURES ✨
🔗 Automatic Visual Mapping
Your browsing history is automatically mapped. Whenever you open a link in a new tab, a visual branch connects the two pages. You can instantly see the exact geographical path of your entire research session.
🎯 Instant Tab Teleportation
No more hunting through fifty squished, tiny tabs at the top of your screen! Simply Left-Click any node directly inside your ReadingTree graph, and your browser will instantly focus that tab.
👻 Ghost Tabs (Graceful History)
Accidentally close a tab? It doesn't disappear from your tree! It cleanly fades into a gray "ghost" node, ensuring your visual train of thought is never broken. Better yet, if you realize you needed that closed page back, simply Left-Click the ghost node to instantly reopen and recover it right where it belongs in the tree.
❌ Quick Close
Done reading a specific branch of pages? Simply Right-Click any active node in the tree to instantly close its tab in the background, without even needing to switch to it.
🔄 Seamless Resync
Did your tabs get out of sync? The native "Restart" button elegantly resynchronizes your tree against your currently open browser tabs in a fraction of a second, without erasing your history.
🔒 Privacy First (Zero Data Collection)
Your data never leaves your device. ReadingTree acts purely as a local dashboard, mapping your tabs inside secure, temporary session memory that is wiped clean the second you close the browser. It operates 100% offline and requires zero account sign-ups.
Upgrade your workflow, visualize your thought process, and never get lost in a multi-tab rabbit hole again.
