Overview
Read Aloud lets you listen to any web page instead of reading it. Click the toolbar button to have the current page spoken aloud using your computer's built-in voices, or select a passage first to hear just that. Pause, resume, and stop anytime, adjust the reading speed from 0.5× to 2×, and choose from any voice installed on your system. Everything runs locally on your device: no account, no sign-in, and your page content is never sent anywhere.
