Overview
Quiet Teleport helps you discover random, work-friendly websites with one click—no
tracking, no feeds/XML, no doomscrolling.
Detailed description
Quiet Teleport is a lightweight Chrome extension that “teleports” you to a random,
interesting corner of the independent web. Instead of endlessly browsing social feeds,
you get a curated destination instantly—and full control to skip, open, or block sites
you don’t like.
Key features:
- One-click Teleport from the toolbar popup, plus a keyboard shortcut (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift +
K).
- Preview-based discovery: see what’s “up next”, tap Next to skip, Teleport/Open to
visit.
- Personal control: Block (never see that domain again) and Report (block + copy the URL
for your own notes).
- Work-friendly filters: Work Safe Mode and Avoid Tech/Dev Sites toggles.
- Privacy-first: no analytics, no accounts, and settings/blocklist are stored locally.
- Safer browsing defaults: prefers HTTPS and filters common feed/raw endpoints (so you
land on readable pages, not XML/RSS).
The site library is built from public URL sources (URLs only) and includes proper
attribution in the extension’s About page.
