Detailed description
Quick Search and Close adds four simple keyboard shortcuts to every webpage:

W — Instantly search any word on Google
Just hover your mouse over a word and press W. The word is automatically selected and
opened in a new Google search tab. No need to highlight, right-click, or copy.

E — Ask Gemini about the word
Hover over a word and press E. The word is sent to Gemini as a "<word> とは？"
question in a new tab, and Gemini will automatically submit and answer.

Q — Close the current tab
Press Q to close the tab you're on. Perfect for quickly dismissing search results
after you're done reading.

D — Open Gemini in a popup
Press D to open Gemini in a compact popup window pinned to the left side of your
screen. Useful for keeping Gemini accessible while browsing.

All shortcuts are disabled inside text inputs, textareas, and editable fields, so they
won't interfere with typing.
