PonySubs now supports both local API-key mode and PonySubs Cloud mode. Users can bring their own speech and translation API keys, or use PonySubs Cloud features where available without manually setting up third-party API keys.

Video subtitle translation:
For videos with closed captions or CC, PonySubs can translate the available subtitles directly.

For videos without CC, PonySubs can generate live subtitles from the video audio. Users can either use their own supported speech and translation API keys, or use PonySubs Cloud features where available.

Webpage translation:
PonySubs can help translate webpage text so users can read foreign-language content without switching apps or copying text into a separate translator.

PonySubs Cloud:
PonySubs Cloud is designed to make subtitle and translation features easier to use by reducing manual API-key setup. Cloud availability, limits, and paid features may depend on the user's plan.

Privacy and security:
- PonySubs only processes the audio, subtitles, or webpage text needed to provide the feature the user chooses
- Content may be sent to PonySubs Cloud or trusted speech and translation providers when cloud features are used
- In personal API-key mode, content is sent to the providers configured by the user
- PonySubs does not sell user data
- PonySubs does not use user audio, subtitles, or webpage text for advertising
