This experimental extension brings machine learning to your Pokémon Showdown battles. It analyzes the battle state and provides live recommendations for the best moves and switches, helping you make smarter decisions.

- ML‑Powered (Random Forest) – Trained on thousands of Gen 1 Random Battle logs.
- Fallback Rule‑Based System – If the ML server is unavailable, the extension still gives sensible suggestions using classic type‑matching rules.

🤖 Why Random Forest?
- Handles the complex, non‑linear interactions between Pokémon stats, types, and field effects.
- Provides reliable probability estimates for each possible action.
- Is robust against overfitting and works well with the moderate‑sized training set.
- Offers good interpretability (feature importance can be extracted).

🚧 Experimental Version
These are the first public versions (currently on v1.0.2), it’s a work in progress! You may encounter occasional bugs or unexpected behaviour.

📦 How It Works
1. The extension automatically activates when you join a Gen 1 Random Battle on Pokémon Showdown.
2. It captures the battle log and sends it to a cloud‑based ML server (or your own self‑hosted instance).
3. The server returns the top move and switch recommendations, which are displayed in a sleek overlay.
4. You can swap perspective at any time with the SWAP button.

📝 Notes
- The green dot indicates the ML server is connected; yellow means fallback mode.
- Works best in Chrome/Edge (Manifest V3).
