When you click "Buy Now" or "Add to Cart" on Amazon, PauseCart shows a gentle overlay asking: "Is this something you
really need?" You can either take a moment to think it through, or skip the pause and buy immediately. That's it. No
guilt trips. No forced delays. Just a breath.

If you choose "Let me think about it," you'll see a simple checklist — 5 statements that help you figure out whether
this is a thoughtful purchase or a 2 AM impulse buy.

THE 5-POINT CHECKLIST

Each statement is something you check if it's true for you:

- I don't have anything like this already.
- I'll still want this a week from now.
- I'm buying this because I need it, not because I'm bored.
- I'd buy this even if nobody ever saw it.
- I can comfortably afford this right now.

Check all 5? Go for it — you've clearly thought this through.

WORK HOURS CALCULATOR

The checklist page also shows how many hours of work this purchase costs you. Enter your hourly rate and see the real

SMART THRESHOLD

Not every purchase needs a pause. You can set a minimum price threshold (default: $25) so small purchases go through
without interruption. Buying a $5 phone cable? No pause. Eyeing a $300 espresso machine at midnight? PauseCart has
your back.

The threshold works across currencies automatically — so it functions correctly regardless of which regional store
you're shopping on.

SUPPORTED REGIONS

Works on major Amazon sites worldwide, including the US, UK, Germany, France, Japan, Canada, and Australia. Currency
conversion for the smart threshold is automatic.

REMEMBERS YOUR DECISIONS

You decided, and PauseCart respects that. You can reset all dismissed products anytime from the extension popup.

PauseCart does not collect, store, or transmit any of your data. Period.
