Pagesus — Page Based Disc
View on Chrome Web StoreChrome will indicate if you already have this installed.
Overview
PagesUs adds a contextual discussion panel to your browser.
When you manually open the PagesUs side panel, it creates a temporary discussion space associated only with the URL of the page you are currently viewing. This allows users to share and read short, page-specific insights without leaving the page.
Currently supported sites include LinkedIn (profiles, company pages, etc.), YouTube (videos, shorts, playlists, etc.), and GitHub (repositories, profiles, issues, etc.).
PagesUs is fully user-initiated. The extension does not send intrusive push notifications, does not post messages automatically, and never sends messages on behalf of the user. However, a subtle badge on the pinned extension icon will alert you if an active discussion exists for the page you are currently viewing.
Key characteristics:
- Discussions are tied only to the current page URL
- Participation is optional and initiated by the user
- No accounts, sign-ups, or personal identifiers are required
- Conversations are temporary and automatically removed
- Live viewer count: See exactly how many other people are actively viewing the same discussion in real-time.
Privacy & Safety
PagesUs only reads the active tab’s URL to determine the discussion context and check for active message counts. It does not collect browsing history, page content, cookies, or personal data. Messages are user-generated and visible only to others who choose to open the same discussion panel.
PagesUs does not inject scripts, modify websites, display ads, or send intrusive push notifications.
PagesUs uses lightweight safeguards to help prevent spam and reduce abusive or harmful content in discussions.
PagesUs is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any third-party websites or services, including those mentioned above.
