HOW IT WORKS
Old Internet runs entirely in your browser. It uses your existing X/Twitter login to render your own timeline through X's own interface — nothing is sent to any third-party server. Toggle it off anytime to return to the standard X experience.

GETTING STARTED
1. Install the extension.
2. Visit x.com while logged in — your timeline loads in the Old Internet layout.
3. Click the toolbar icon to toggle between Old Internet and native X on the current tab.

The extension reads the signed-in user's X/Twitter data only to render it in the browser. It does not transmit user data to any developer or third-party server, does not sell or transfer user data, and does not use data for purposes unrelated to its single purpose. Settings are stored locally via chrome.storage. A privacy policy URL is required because host permissions are used.
