Overview
Nutribanner is a web browser extension integrated into major Canadian online shopping websites(Metro, SuperC, Walmart).
The banner provides three labels:
- Nutri-Score: A letter-based rating (A to E) that represents nutritional quality
- Nova-classification: A category based on the level of processing from unprocessed (Group 1) to ultra-processed (Group 4).
- Eco-score: An environmental impact score (A to E)
Clicking the banner directs users to the official Open Food Facts website for more details.
Our goal is to enhance food transparency and drive positive changes in consumer behavior.
