Overview
Every time you shop online, part of your money flows to companies that spend millions lobbying Congress and funding political campaigns. NOligarchy shows you the score.
When you browse a product on Amazon, Walmart, or Target, NOligarchy overlays a live score — 0 to 100 — based on that retailer's disclosed federal political spending: lobbying filings, corporate PAC contributions, and executive donations. Higher score = less political influence buying.
What it shows you:
- The current retailer's NOligarchy score and spend tier
- Alternative retailers carrying the same product, ranked by score
- Price and direct buy links so switching takes one click
How scores are calculated:
Scores draw from public federal records: Senate LDA lobbying disclosures, FEC PAC contribution filings, and individual donation data. No partisan weighting — the data speaks for itself. Full methodology at noligarchy.com.
Privacy:
NOligarchy does not collect your name, email, browsing history, or purchase history. When you open a product detail page, the product title and retailer ID (e.g. ASIN) are sent to noligarchy.com to find matching sellers. Anonymous usage events (scan initiated, retailer clicked) are logged via PostHog to help us improve match quality. No personal data is stored or sold. See our full privacy policy at noligarchy.com/privacy.
Works on Amazon, Walmart, and Target product pages.
