Tired of spam, bots, and low-quality replies from brand new Twitter/X accounts? New Account Blocker automatically detects and hides posts from recently created accounts — no Twitter API key needed.

The extension works by reading account data that Twitter already loads in your browser, so there are no extra network requests, no slowdowns, and no API costs.

Features:

- Hide posts from accounts younger than your chosen threshold (1 month to 5 years)
- Optionally hide posts from blue-check (Twitter Blue / X Premium) verified accounts
- Collapsed posts show a subtle bar with the account's creation date — click "Show" to reveal temporarily, or "Allow user" to permanently allowlist them
- Accounts you follow are never hidden
- Works everywhere on Twitter/X: timeline, replies, search, profiles
