NetSuite Field Explorer EX gives NetSuite developers and administrators instant visibility into every field on any record - without writing a single line of SuiteScript and without consuming any governance units. Open any record, click the icon, and see every body field, sublist, and line item value in a clean, searchable interface.

Inspired by the original NetSuite Field Explorer by Michoel Chaikin, Field Explorer EX is an independent, ground-up rebuild with a modern interface, zero external dependencies, and powerful new features for the NetSuite developer workflow.

📊 Two View Modes · Switch between the modern tabbed interface (New Mode) with sortable tables for body fields, sublists, and raw JSON, or the classic collapsible JSON tree (Legacy Mode) for developers who prefer the original explorer-style navigation.

🔎 Smart Search & Filter · Real-time search across all field names and values with highlighted matches. Filter by All Fields, Custom Only, or Standard Only. Filters apply to the display and all exports.

📋 Body Fields Table · Every field on the record with Field ID, value, and auto-detected type. Type detection includes checkbox, date, select, multiselect, currency, number, email, URL, and more. Click column headers to sort by Field ID, Value, or Type.

📑 Sublist Viewer · Dropdown picker to jump between sublists with proper column headers, line numbers, and line counts. Search filters apply across sublist columns and values.

🗂️ Nav Manager · Hide unwanted NetSuite navigation menu items to declutter your workspace. Configure hidden items globally (All Instances) or per-account with different rules for production, sandbox, and other environments. Available on any NetSuite page - no record required.

📥 Export · Export to JSON (full record data including sublists) or CSV (body fields with Field ID, Value, and Type columns). Exports respect your current filter - export only custom fields, only standard fields, or everything.

🖱️ Click-to-Copy · Click any field ID or value to copy it to your clipboard instantly with visual confirmation. Floating copy buttons on Raw JSON and Legacy views let you grab the entire record data in one click.

↔️ Resizable Popup · Drag the bottom-left corner grip to resize the popup width and height. Your preferred size is remembered across sessions.

🎨 Redesigned UI · Dark navy toolbar, SVG icon system, consistent shadows and transitions. Dark Mode and Light Mode toggle. Compact Mode for denser layouts. All preferences are saved and restored automatically.

🧠 How It Works:

Step 1: Navigate to any record page in NetSuite.
Step 2: Click the Field Explorer EX icon or press Ctrl+Shift+F.
Step 3: Browse body fields in the sortable table, switch to Sublists or Raw JSON tabs.
Step 4: Click any field ID or value to copy it to your clipboard.
Step 5: Use the search box to filter fields by name or value.
Step 6: Toggle between Custom/Standard/All fields using the Fields dropdown.
Step 7: Export your data as JSON or CSV with one click.
Step 8: On any NetSuite page, click the Nav button to manage navigation menu visibility.
All data is retrieved live from the record's native XML representation. No external data collection, no login prompts, no storage of sensitive info.
