Overview
My Chrome Home replaces Chrome's default new tab page with a personal dashboard built around how you actually work.
Each time you open a tab you get a full-screen wallpaper (Bing's daily photo, NASA's Astronomy Picture of the Day, or your own image), a live weather display using your location, and a space to set a single intention for the day — which clears itself at midnight ready for tomorrow.
Search bar features the !bang shortcut to jump straight to 40+ other sites without changing your default search engine. A built-in reference panel lists every available shortcut.
Your bookmarks are organised into named groups with favicon tiles you can drag to reorder and hover to edit. Notes are captured in a card view with a full editor, and the toolbar popup lets you jot something down from any page without opening a new tab first. A "this day in history" strip pulls a random event from Wikipedia's archive each morning.
An ambient sound player offers Rain, Ocean, Fireplace, Brown Noise, White Noise, and Pink Noise — all generated in the browser with no files to download. The settings page lets you pick an accent colour that themes the whole UI, choose your wallpaper source, and individually show or hide any element on the page.
No account required. No data sent to the developer. Your notes and bookmarks stay on your device; settings sync across your Chrome installs automatically.
