More Better Ctrl W

This extension lets you assign custom keybindings to close tabs and to delete the word before the cursor.

This is useful if you're accustomed to using <Ctrl-W> on the command line or in your text editor to delete back word, and you want similar functionality in your browser.

After installing this extension, click *Keyboard shortcuts* to assign custom bindings:

- You can assign a custom keybinding to close tabs, e.g., <Alt-W>.

- You can assign a custom keybinding to delete the word before the cursor, e.g., <Ctrl-W>.

- You can also assign any keybinding to *do nothing*, e.g., if you'd like to disable <Ctrl-W> instead.

Note that *delete back word* doesn't work from the address bar — it'll delete the previous word from whatever input has focus on the page, if an edit control has focus. Sorry! That's just a limitation of using an extension.
