MedX Assistant is a clinical decision-support tool that lives inside your browser. Open a patient in your EMR and it instantly surfaces what matters — so you can make faster, safer decisions without switching tabs or hunting through records.

WHAT IT DOES

Patient Summary
Understand the patient in seconds. MedX reads the active patient's record and generates a concise summary: diagnosis, key findings, active treatment, and recent labs — all in one card.

Clinical Alerts
Get notified before you miss something critical. MedX monitors haemoglobin trends, flags abnormal vitals, and highlights values that have changed significantly since the last reading.

Duplicate Test Warnings
Stop ordering tests that were already done. When you're about to order a CBC or other investigation, MedX checks whether one was recently completed and gives you the option to proceed or cancel.

Ask Anything
Type a question in plain language and get an answer based solely on this patient's data. "Why was CBC flagged?" "What changed since yesterday?" "Which medications affect renal function?" — answered from the chart, not from generic medical knowledge.

HOW IT WORKS
MedX Assistant runs entirely within your browser and your facility's own infrastructure. Clinical data flows between your browser and your facility's own backend server — it never reaches MedX servers. No patient data is stored, transmitted externally, or used for any purpose other than supporting the clinician using the tool.

REQUIREMENTS
MedX Assistant requires MedX to be deployed at your facility. Contact info@medx.international to request setup. Typical deployment takes 2–4 weeks and is handled by our team in coordination with your IT department.

PRIVACY
All patient data stays within your facility's own infrastructure. The extension stores only your facility's backend URL locally on your device. Nothing else is persisted or shared.
