Magnimouse Three Magnifie
View on Chrome Web StoreChrome will indicate if you already have this installed.
Overview
We built this because zoom in browsers is a blunt tool. Sometimes you just want to see one image clearly without losing your place on the page. Sometimes you want every page on a specific site bigger forever. Sometimes you want to enlarge the word your cursor is on without disturbing anything else. MagniMouse does all three.
One toolbar popup, three magnifier modes, a master switch, and a per-site disable. That's it.
Features
- Hover image zoom. Hover over any image and a circular lens follows your cursor, magnifying the part underneath. Adjustable zoom 1.5x to 4x. Skips thumbnails and sprite sheets automatically.
- Per-site page zoom. Pick a zoom level for each site you visit. github.com at 110%, your work dashboard at 150%, news sites at 125%. Saved per host and applied automatically when you open the tab.
- Hover text magnifier. Hover over any text and a tooltip shows it enlarged in bold. Adjustable 100% to 400%. White background, black text, readable on light and dark sites.
- Master switch. One click turns every mode off across all sites. The toolbar icon dims so you can see the state at a glance.
- Per-site disable. Turn off hover modes on a specific site without affecting your other sites.
How it works
The extension runs only in your browser. No accounts, no signups, no servers. Your preferences and per-site zoom levels are stored locally via chrome.storage. Nothing about what you read, what images you hover, or what sites you visit ever leaves your computer.
Privacy
This extension does not collect, transmit, or share any data. No tracking, no analytics, no telemetry.
