Overview
LockdIn turns LinkedIn into a calmer workspace when you want to show up without getting pulled into the default scroll loop.
WHAT IT DOES
• Hides the main home feed and the LinkedIn News column on the feed.
• Hides the Notifications entry in the top navigation (Jobs and other items stay available).
• Hides distracting right-side rails and ad-style panels where the layout allows, including on Messaging and profile-style views when those elements appear.
• Keeps your left profile rail so navigation still feels familiar.
• Replaces the hidden area on the home feed with a full-width panel: rotating motivational lines and a randomly chosen artwork backdrop from bundled images. Everything loads from the extension itself - no stock-image APIs or remote images for that experience.
WHO IS THIS FOR
People who use LinkedIn for job search, networking, or messaging but want the home surface to feel intentional instead of addictive.
HOW TO USE IT
Install LockdIn, open LinkedIn, and browse as usual. Click the LockdIn toolbar icon to turn the effect off or on; the active LinkedIn tab reloads so the change applies immediately. Your choice is remembered on this device.
PRIVACY
LockdIn does not collect, store, or sell your data. It runs only in your browser and adjusts how linkedin.com pages look. It does not send your browsing activity, account details, messages, or page content to us or to any third party.
