Llm Timestamp
✨ AI-Powered View on Chrome Web StoreChrome will indicate if you already have this installed.
Overview
Automatically inserts a timestamp — [2026-07-07 14:32] — at the start of your message the moment you begin typing into a supported LLM chat composer, then keeps it current until you send, so the LLM sees your send-time, not the time you started drafting.
Works on Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Copilot (web), in Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari (macOS).
Format [YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm] — local time, 24-hour

Sites claude.ai, chatgpt.com, gemini.google.com, copilot.microsoft.com
What it does (behavior)
Stamp on first keystroke into an empty composer — before your first character lands. Exactly once per message.
Live send-time. While the message sits unsent, the stamp refreshes every 60 seconds. Draft for 5 minutes and the LLM still receives your send-time. The refresh is length-preserving, so your caret never jumps and typing is never interrupted.
Hands off if you touch it. Edit, move, or delete the stamp yourself and live updates stop for that message — it is never silently re-inserted.
Resets after send. When the composer empties (send, or you clear it), the next message gets a fresh stamp. Shift+Enter (newline) does not reset.
Composer only. Search boxes and settings fields are never stamped.
